Anne Lesley Selcer is the author of Sun Cycle, winner of the CSU Poetry Center Press First Book Award, and Blank Sign Book, a collection of essays on art, both released in 2019. Her chapbook From a Book of Poems on Beauty won the Gazing Grain award. Art writing includes Banlieusard, a book-length text for Artspeak on media and sense memory, and Untitled (a treatise on form) for 2nd Floor Projects. Her writing and poetry has appeared in nine anthologies, as well as in Hyperallergic, Fillip, Jacket2, Art Practical, Open Space, Fillip, Fence, The Chicago Review, and GaussPDF among others, as well as in gallery and museum catalogs. Anne Lesley writes about images, form, beauty, invisibility, formlessness, abjection, and political emotion. She occasionally creates off the page.
