Simon Eales
Simon is from Melbourne, Australia and lives between there and Buffalo, New York, where he is a PhD student in SUNY Buffalo's Poetics Program and a teaching assistant. He holds a MA from the University of Melbourne where he was an H.B. Higgins Scholar in radical poetics. Simon is a performance artist, and has published writing in The Music, Rabbit, Cordite, Don't Do It, and independently. His first poetry book, Deathroll & Netbag, was printed in Zogno, Italy in 2017. He is co-organizer of Ecopoetry Workshop, a creative, collaborative, and critical mobile residency program for writers, artists, and philosophers.
