Thirii Myo Kyaw Myint
Thirii Myo Kyaw Myint is the author of the novel, The End of Peril, the End of Enmity, the End of Strife, a Haven (Noemi Press, 2018), which won the Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature, and the family history project, Zat Lun, which won the 2018 Graywolf Press Nonfiction Prize and is forthcoming from Graywolf Press in 2021. Her short stories have appeared most recently in Gulf Coast, Fairy Tale Review, Black Warrior Review, and the anthologies Forward: 21st Century Flash Fiction and Best Small Fictions. She holds a Ph.D. in creative writing from the University of Denver, an M.F.A. in prose from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.A. in literary arts from Brown University. She is currently the visiting writer at Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
